Runs 95 minutes

Some kind of radiation event has wiped out most of civilization.  Ann Burden's (Margot Robbie) farm was spared from the carnage due to its protected location. She has been gardening and living on her own for quite some time, wondering if there was anyone else left, when she runs into John Loomis (Chiwetel Ejiofor) on a supply run. She tentatively invites him into her home. Soon, they are forging a relationship, planting crops and working on getting the electricity back up on the farm. Then Caleb (Chris Pine) shows up and things get a little tricky. A love triangle of sorts throws everything off balance. Will the three of them be able to live on the farm in peace or will one of them have to go?

I kind of liked this movie. It is definitely an indie film. I thought all three characters were really good. Once Caleb shows up, you could really feel the tension. Neat concept but not all of the questions get answered. If you like these last man on earth kind of movies, then you should like this one. Good acting and attractive people. Worth a matinee, at least.
