Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) is thought to be dead and has been living off the grid. When terrorists get their hands on Pandora's Box, a device that can send satellites crashing out of the air and can spy on ordinary people, Xander is lured out of retirement by CIA officer Jane Marke (Toni Collette) to capture the device. Of course, other people are looking for the device, as well. Xander and his crew are soon involved in a race against another group of combatants led by Xiang (Donnie Yen) to get possession of Pandora's box. When it becomes clear that they may be working against operatives at the highest level, the two factions must team up before the device lands in the wrong hands.

Ok. This is not an Oscar movie. This is a movie that has a simple plot in order to better showcase the incredible and crazy stunts that Xander and his crew perform. Skiing down a mountain with no snow - no problem. Jumping out of a plane with no parachute - go for it. All kinds of crazy things happen in this film and that is what makes the xXx franchise so fun. This isn't a great movie but it is entertaining and there are some fun cameos that make it even more enjoyable. The cast is all in. There is plenty of humor (some of it is groan worthy) but it still keeps you interested and entertained. If you saw the previous installment and liked it, then you should go see this one. If not, then xXx might not be for you. I had a fun time - just remember that this is a popcorn action flick and nothing more.
