Runs 114 minutes

Efraim Diveroli (Jonah Hill) recruits his old friend David Packouz (Miles Teller) to join him in his latest business venture. He has figured out how to exploit a loophole in the Pentagon bidding process that allows small businesses to bid on U.S Government contracts. David isn't raking in the big bucks as a massage therapist in Miami Beach and jumps at the chance to earn some real money. Afterall, his girlfriend Iz (Ana de Armas) is pregnant and he needs to start pulling his weight. They start small, the money flows in and soon they are living the good life. But, Efraim and David get a little ahead of themselves when they win a 300 million dollar deal to arm the Afghan military. This puts them in business with some shady characters like Henry Girard (Bradley Cooper), an arms dealer on the terrorist watchlist and some crazy Albanians. With time running out and tensions building, can David and Efraim meet the delivery dates before everything comes crashing down around them?

This story is crazy and it is based on true events. Only our government could be duped by two twenty-somethings with little experience. The Husband and I really liked this movie. It was very funny and very serious. It was also an indictment on the whole military industrial complex. You can see why contracts cost so much to fulfill when you are dealing with the Pentagon. Jonah Hill and Miles Teller were great. I didn't really know about this when it happened so I really enjoyed the film. Just a crazy, true story. Fun and entertaining. Go see it.
