A young nurse named Verena (Emilia Clarke) applies for a position with a family in Tuscany. The mother has recently passed away and the young son Jakob (Edward Dring) has not spoken since. The father Klaus (Martin Csokas) is hoping to find someone who can break through to the son and get him to speak. Of course, things get a little spooky when it appears that the boy hears voices through the wall and thinks it is his mother. Gradually, Verena comes to love Jakob and his father but she must help Jakob to let his mother go before the entire family can truly move on.

This was supposed to be an eerie ghost story. It wasn't very eerie. It was just really slow. Not much happens. The estate where this is filmed is really neat. The characters are likeable enough. There just isn't any real sense of suspense or anything else. Not one of my favorite movies. Not terrible, just seems to be missing something. I would skip this one.
