Runs 97 Minutes

Sawyer Valentini (Claire Foy) is a troubled but determined young women. She has just moved 450 miles from home to avoid a stalker (Joshua Leonard). She has started a new job and is beginning to make friends. But, somehow she is involuntarily committed to a mental institution. That is where her real troubles begin. Have her deepest fears really come true or are they just a figment of her deluded reality?

This film is directed by Steven Soderbergh and it is his first foray into the pseudo-horror genre. It is also the first major film shot entirely on an iPhone. The production quality wasn't as good as some films but it didn't detract from the film either.  I kinda liked it. It kept me teetering between "she is really crazy" and "maybe she is not so crazy afterall". It kept me interested and the tension built up until the very end. Claire Foy does a great job. And, Joshua Leonard is really creepy. There is even a nice little plot twist near the end of the film. It is eerie and there is a little blood but it is more thriller than horror. If you like psychological thrillers verging on horror, then this is for you. Go see it.
