Jill's Review

Opens September 19, 2014

Runs 102 minutes

Wallace (Justin Long) and Teddy (Haley Joel Osment) are podcasters, telling stories on air about stupid things they see on the internet. When they watch the video of the Kill Bill Kid, who performs sword play and then cuts off his leg on air, Wallace decides that he has to go and interview him in person. When he gets to Canada, he discovers that the kid has killed himself. Wallace mutters to himself..."if he could have only waited two days"... "there goes my story". He is about to head home when he sees a flyer in the bathroom stall from someone who claims to have "stories to tell". Wallace can't resist and he heads to Manitoba to meet with the mysterious Howard Howe. Big mistake. Howard is obsessed with Walruses and lets just say that Wallace goes missing. Teddy and Wallace's girlfriend Ally team up with a cop from Quebec (Johnny Depp in deep disguise) to find Wallace.

I love horror movies but this is too stupid to even be classified as horror. It is just plain gross. Don't waste your time. I'm sure it looked funny on paper, and I think it was going for a "Human Centipede" vibe, but it doesn't work. Sorry, skip it.
