Julian (Ricardo Darin) lives in Madrid and has just found out that his cancer is terminal. He decides not to seek further treatment and to enjoy his remaining time. He receives an unexpected visit from his best friend Tomas (Javier Camara) all the way from Canada. Of course, Tomas hopes to convince him to continue treatment but soon must accept his friend's decision. Instead, they spend their time together wrapping up Julian's loose ends and trying to find a new home for Julian's beloved Bull Mastiff dog Truman. The two share funny, emotional and touching moments as they spend these last days together.

I loved this film. But, this movie requires a BOX of Kleenex. It is sweet and funny and touching and emotional. If you are a dog person, this will hit you really hard. You will laugh through your tears and it ends on a very sweet note, so you will leave feeling sad but a little relieved. These two actors are just great. If you are a fan of foreign films, you will recognize them both. They make the film. And the dog is so sweet and huge. I can't say enough about this movie. I laughed through my tears and really enjoyed it. Another of my very favorites so far in 2017. Find this film and go see it!!
