Journalist David Farrier was searching for a new topic to write about. He stumbled upon something called Competitve Endurance Tickling. He thought that sounded pretty interesting and odd all at the same time. After he watched a few videos, he was hooked. Of course, once he began his investigation, he got push back and eventually hostile rejection to all of his inquiries. This only led him to dig deeper and film everything. What he found was not at all what he was expecting.

This was a crazy film. First, it is hard to believe that there are actually people who make a living filming tickle videos and that there are enough people out there that actually buy them. The videos are almost like tickle torture porn, but there is no sex and the person tied down and being tickled is somewhat dressed. Still, there is a weird vibe. But, that is just how the movie starts. Then, David leads you down a rabbit hole of misdirection and fake identity and legal threats. Carzy stuff. I don't want to give any more away because it is just too hard to believe anyway. I thought the ending was just a bit of a letdown. I would have liked to have seen this film made with a larger budget. I think it could have been great. Still, it was good.  If you like documentaries that deliver the unexpected, then this is for you. Go see it.
