Runs 90 minutes

An archeological team from the United States has discovered an underground pyramid in Egypt using new satellite technology. A film crew is documenting their find and together they decide to investigate this unusual pyramid. Bad decision.  Holden (Denis O'Hare) is a Princeton professor and is leading the expedition along with his daughter Nora (Ashley Hinshaw). They are very experienced but Holden prefers the old methods of searching and digging while Nora has brought them into the 21st century using new technology. However, they can both read the heiroglyphics and that should have warned them from the beginning to STAY OUT OF THE PYRAMID but then there wouldn't have been a movie. There was a reason this pyramid was buried under centuries of sand...

This movie was less than average. There were a few scares but overall it was just dumb. I gave it two stars because I like cats. You'll have to see it if you want to know what that has to do with anything. And, I always have fun betting on who is going to live and who is going to die.  Pretty good body count but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you are just desperate for a very sandy and dull horror movie.
