Thomas Webb (Callum Turner) has recently graduated from college and is trying to find his way in the world. His father, Ethan (Pierce Brosnan) wants him to come to work at his publishing house. But, Thomas has other ideas. He thinks he wants to be a writer. Meanwhile, a new tenant at his apartment complex, W.F. Gerald (Jeff Bridges) has befriended Thomas. He begins spending time with W.F. Their late night discussions cover women, careers and life. Then, Thomas' world is rocked when he discovers that his father has a mistress (Kate Beckinsale). Soon, Thomas is following her and, eventually he falls for her. Things can only from bad to worse as he confronts his father, tries to protect his mother (Cynthia Nixon) and realizes that W.F. might not be who he says he is. Thomas, the boy, will finally have to grow up.

This was a very interesting movie, I didn't know anything about it when I went to see it. I was pleasantly surprised. It has a great cast and an involving storyline. There are some nice twists and turns that keep you on your toes. And, some great acting. It is nice to see Pierce Brosnan in a good, non-action role. Jeff Bridges is great, as always. Just a nice indie film. No explosions or car chases. Great dialogue, interesting characters and an intriguing story. Go see it.
