This is an in-depth look at Andre Leon Talley, a gay, black man from the segregated south who went on to become one of the most knowledgeable and relevant people in the world of Haute Couture. The film explores his upbringing, his presence at all of the fashion houses in Europe and his stint at Vogue. 

This was a pretty good film. I knew who Andre Leon Talley was but I didn't know much about him except that he was big into fashion. I enjoyed learning more about him and his background and education. I loved the interviews from some of the most famous people in fashion. It was fun lookng back at some of the old film of him and at some of the old fashion trends. The film was made during the run-up to the 2016 Election. Let's just say, things didn't turn out the way ALT and his friends had hoped. Anyway, an interesting look at an interesting man. If you like fashion, then this might be for you.
