This is the third installment of Sylvester Stallone and friends causing mayhem. This one involves Stonebanks (Mel Gibson, an original expendable who everyone thought was dead) out to destroy all of the Expendables. Barney (Sylvester Stallone) decides that he needs some new blood that is younger and more tech-savvy to help defeat Stonebanks. He brings in Victor Ortiz, Kellan Lutz, Antonio Banderas (hilarious!) and even a girl - Ronda Rousey to help defeat Stonebanks. In the end, it turns out that Barney needs both the old and new blood to save the day.
This movie starts out strong - great action rescuing Wesley Snipes from a black ops prison and great dark humor while doing it. Then Sylvester recruits the new guys and the action and humor slows to a halt. Then the acton picks up but it becomes all noise. No one gets enough screen time (especially Jason Statham, the main reason I go to these movies..) and it is just not very fun. The ending is pretty good, but it takes too long to get there. You can probably skip this one and not miss too much.
