Runs 92 minutes

The Taylor family has some issues. Dad Peter (Kevin Bacon) has an eye for the ladies, Mom Bronny (Radha Mitchell) has a past drinking problem, daughter Stephanie (Lucy Fry) might have an eating disorder and son Michael (David Mazouz) is autistic. They all go on a camping trip and somehow disturb an old Anastasi buriel ground. They bring home more than they bargained for from that trip. Now, the family must work together to fight for their very survival before the Darkness gets them all.

I love scary movies. This one was not scary at all. It had a pretty decent cast with Kevin Bacon, Paul Reiser and even Ming-Na Wen. But, you could tell where it was headed from the very beginning. I was just pulling for Kevin Bacon to survive. Extra 1/2 star for that. The family was slightly annoying. There were characters that disappeared from the film after the first 15 minutes - not even killed off, just gone. There was some suspense - just not enough. Barely average film. Kevin Bacon was the best thing about it. Maybe rent it one night when there is absolutely nothing else to do. Or skip it.
