In this sequel, Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) are sent by the church to investigate paranormal activity that is plaguing the Hodgson family in Enfield, England. They have just finished their investigation into the Amityville haunting and have become somewhat renowned. When they arrive, they find that the demon has focused on Janet (Madison Wolfe) the younger daughter and the family is in distress. The Warrens go to work, interviewing and audio and video taping unfolding events. Lorraine is unable to feel any evil presence and is almost convinced that everything is a hoax. Until she realizes that the demon is so strong it is able to mask its presence. Will the Warrens be able to solve the mystery before the whole family is ripped apart?

I really liked this movie. It is based on actual events and at the end of the film it says that this haunting (the Enfield Poltergeist) was one of the most documented paranormal events ever. I guess it is R rated for the horror factor but there is no language, sex or anything else. I didn't think it was that scary but it was eerie, creepy and chilling. I only jumped one time but I was tense for most of the film. I thought the little girl was really amazing. She was in almost every scene of the film once the Warrens began investigating her case. I really liked the fact that they portrayed the Warrens as caring and loving people of Faith. They did what they did to help people and then they went back home to their lives where they seemed to be a happy, married couple. The camera work is amazing in this film. The camera floated and zoomed. It added to the overall supernatural feeling of the film. If you liked the first one, this one is better. A definite must see for anyone who likes a good scare.
