Runs 104 minutes

Michael MacCauley (Liam Neeson) gets up every day at 6:00 am and commutes into New York City for his job at an Insurance Agency. He takes the 6:20 pm train home to the suburbs where he lives with hiis wife Karen (Elizabeth McGovern) and son Danny (Dean-Charles Chapman). He is over-extended on his mortgage and his son is preparing to leave for college. Things are tight. So, when Michael is unexpectedly fired from his job, he is distraught. He heads to his local bar to have a drink. There, he runs into an old friend, Alex Murphy (Patrick Wilson). They share a drink and reminisce about when they were on the Police Force together. Then, Michael heads home to tell his wife the news. On the train home, he is approached by Joanna (Vera Farmiga) and presented with an offer. Find the person on the train who doesn't belong and he will be paid $100,000. The first $25,000 is hidden in the bathroom. Michael doesn't believe a word he hears but when he finds the first $25,000, he is sucked in. He needs the money, afterall. And, he just has to find someone named "Prynne" and locate their bag. That's it. Uh, No! That's when the action kicks in and Michael must try to stay a step ahead of "Joanna" and her mysterious co-conspirators and keep the rest of the passengers safe at the same time.

This is a pretty good movie. It is fast-paced and action-packed. Liam Neeson has turned into the perfect action hero. The Husband and I both enjoyed it. It keeps you guessing until the last minute. Of course, it is a little far-fetched but who cares. What would you do? That's the fun of the movie - trying to decide what you would do in a similar circumstance. Of course, you would take the money, right? Ha! Almost the whole film takes place on the train and it feels like you are on the train with them. I felt a little tired when the film was over, that is how much crazy action was going on. If you liked Taken or Non-Stop, then you will probably like this. So, go see it.
