The true story of the Puccio Clan, a crime family in 1980's Argentina. As a family, they kidnapped rich people (usually friends and/or neighbors) and held them for ransom. With what appears to be a blind eye from the authorities, the Puccio Clan wreaks havoc until the day that it all catches up with them.
This is a fascinating film. It starts with a scene from the end of the movie and then jumps back and forth in time until eveything winds back up where it started. It takes a little while to catch on to what is happening and the time jumps throw you off a little since this is a subtitled film. (The subtitiles flash by pretty quickly, too). But, it is unbelieveable how brazen this family was. They kidnapped people right from the middle of the street. The Father was a forbidding figure and there was little chance to leave the family and forge your own life. Ultimately, everyone pays a big price. Almost hard to believe that this is based on a real family. If you like true crime stories, then this might be for you. Go see it.
