Hope (Melissa Rauch) is a former Olympic medalist whose attempt at Gold was ruined by an unfortunate accident. Years later she is still capitalizing on the bronze medal that she did win in the Games. She still lives in her hometown in her Dad's basement and still takes advantage of him at every turn. She is foul-mouthed and steals money out of the mail in her Dad's mail truck. Her Dad Stan (Gary Cole) is working up the courage to try to get his daughter to get a job and do something productive. Eventually, she is coerced into becoming the coach for Olympic hopeful Maggie (Haley Lu Richardson). But, she is not happy about this because Maggie is likely to usurp her place as semi-celebrity in their hometown. Will Hope sabotage Maggie's attempt at gold or will she take her job as coach seriously?

This is supposed to be a comedy. I didn't think it was very funny. Hope is just mean. And, the language is really bad. There is a sex scene that is very graphic. I'm sure on paper is sounded funny to have the characters have sex like two crazy sex-maniac gymnasts, but it was just too graphic. There was one really funny line toward the end of the film. That was the only time I remember the audience laughing. The rest of the film barely produced a chuckle. Very sad because I thought this looked like it had promise. Skip this one!
