Jennifer Lopez is Claire Peterson, the Classics teacher at the local High School. She is separated from her cheating husband Garrett (John Corbett) and very vulnerable. Noah (Ryan Guzman) is a hot teenager who moves next door to help his sick uncle. He befriends Claire's son Kevin (Ian Nelson) and is soon hanging around her house every day. Eventually, he catches her alone and in a moment of weakness, she sleeps with Noah (luckily she had on her matching black lace bra and panties...). Anyway, big mistake. He decides that they are in love and will do anything to make her love him back. Of course, turning into a stalker and threatening her job and loved ones doesn't really seem like the ideal way to win the girl, but that's what he does.  Will she be able to save her family from the boy next door?

OK. This is a cheesy movie. But, it is also cheesy fun. J-Lo looks beautiful as always. The Husband was especially happy that we saw the movie on one of the biggest screens in New York City. The more J-Lo the better! (Although, to be fair, he didn't really want to see this movie and he thinks that there is a clause in J-Lo's contract to only film her rear end in the most flattering way.) Still, the last half of the movie was crazy. Lots of "don't go in there alone", "don't open the door", "call the police, you idiot", and in the end it definitely kept you on the edge of your seat. No Oscars here, just cheesy fun. The husband even said it was better than he expected. Worth a matinee.
