Moondog (Matthew McConaughey) is a washed up poet who lives by his own rules. He used to be famous and he still lives off of his past success and his wife Minnie's (Isla Fisher) money. He is like the mayor of Key West, drinking and getting high with everyone. For some reason, the women still love him. When tragedy strikes, he is forced to actually try to publish a new book of poems if he wants to maintain his current lifestyle. Can he do it?

This is one of the worst movies so far this year. Why Matthew McConaughey would even make this movie is beyond me. I guess he thought it would be fun to film a dumb movie down in Key West and wear a thong and women's clothes. Everyone was definitely game to embarrass themselves in this movie - Isla Fisher, Jonah Hill and Zac Efron, included. And, if any of the stuff that Matthew was spouting off was poetry, it was the worst poetry I've ever heard. There is no point to this film.  It is just dumb and hedonous. I would run far away from this one!
