This is a Swedish film based on an International Best-selling novel. Allan Karlsson (Robert Gustafsson) lives in a Nursing home and is about to turn 100 years old. Before the cake arrives, he jumps out his window and wanders into a crazy adventure. He walks to the train station, ends up with a suitcase full of money and in a comedy of errors, he and the money journey to some crazy places just ahead of the people who want the money back. He also reflects back on his long life and it appears that his whole life has been one adventure after another. Will he live to 101??

This movie was hilarious in a very offbeat way. There are many parts that are just laugh out loud funny.  At one point, Allan gets a threatening phone call telling him to hand over the money or else they will kill him. Allan responds that they better hurry because he is already 100 years old! He is crazy! This movie is like a crime caper, road trip comedy. It is hard to describe beyond that. Just know that it is fast moving and never boring. It is fun and entertaining. Go see it!!
