Runs 95 minutes

Hank (Paul Dano) is somehow shipwrecked on a deserted island. He sees no future and is about to kill himself when he notices a dead body that has washed ashore. He drags the flatulent body to land and names it Manny (Daniel Radcliff). Soon, he is talking to the body and eventually, Manny begins to respond. Hank soon realizes that with Manny's help, he can overcome many obstacles and he might even find the determination to make it back home.

First - this movie will NOT appeal to everyone. It is definitely an absurd comedy. Second - this movie is really funny. Every time Hank drops Manny on his head or Manny falls over, all I can think about Is poor Daniel Radcliff playing this role. He was a hilarious, farting dead body. Paul Dano gave a great, physical and emotional performance, too. There are plenty of fart jokes and sight gags, but there is also friendship and mystery in this movie. It was even a little touching (and creepy) at the end. The less you know going in, the better. If you like whacky independent films and can just let yourself go with the flow, then this might be for you. It is very creative, well-acted and funny. Go see it and see what you think.
