Runs 84 minutes

Excellent documentary about a Hollywood Insider who is not a household name. Directed by Mike Myers, the movie follows the career of Shep Gordon, agent extrordinaire to acts as diverse as Alice Cooper and Anne Murray. This is the riveting tale of his career that starts almost by accident as a 21 year old right out of college thrust into the limelight as Alice Cooper's agent.  He goes on to have an immensely successful career in the music, movie and even celebrity chef business. He is described as the nicest guy you will ever meet and that is exactly the way he comes across in the movie.

I loved this documentary. I had never heard of this guy before the movie. I really enjoyed getting to know him throughout the film. The movie is funny and even touching, with interviews by Alice Cooper, Michael Douglas, Don Nelson, Anne Murray, Sylvester Stallone and Tom Arnold (for some colorful hiumor) among others. There is a long career covered in less than 90 minutes so the movie moves very briskly. It provides a very intimate look into the music business and what it takes to stand out and be successful. Highlty recommend this for anyone who likes documentaries!
