Runs 135 minutes

It has been 30 years since the defeat of the Empire. Now a new threat has emerged - the First Order. They hope to find and capture Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), the last of the Jedi Warriors, and rule the Galaxy. But not if the Resistance can find him first and stop them. Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) is now the General heading the Resistance. She gets a lead on Luke and sends her best pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) to find him. When things go wrong, Poe's droid BB-8 ends up on the run from the First Order. BB-8 ends up in the hands of a Scavenger named Rey (Daisy Ridley) and a reformed Stormtrooper FN-2187, Finn (John Boyega). They join forces with Hans Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) to stop Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and the First Order, find Luke Skywalker and save the Galaxy.

This movie was really great. I am not a huge Star Wars fan so I wasn't expecting to like it quite so much. But, it is really fun and exciting. It works as a standalone movie if you are new to Star Wars, but it also has all of the old gang for fans of the original films. This movie is fast-paced and funny in parts. It is also very nostalgic and might even produce a few tears. I loved seeing Harrison Ford and Chewbacca. But, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega held their own and will be strong leads for future films. Overall, very entertaining and engrossing. See it on the biggest screen you can and you might even splurge for 3D - the 3D was pretty decent in this film. Go see it!
