Runs 102 minutes

Bill Murray is Vincent, a grouchy old man who drinks too much, owes money to everyone and hates most people. When Maggie (Melissa McCarthy) and her son Oliver (newcomer Jaeden Lieberher) move next door, Vincent becomes the boy's unlikely babysitter. Of course, he gouges Maggie on his hourly rate and makes her throw in snack money, too. She is desperate since she is recently separated, doesn't know anyone in the neighborhood and has just started a new job. Vincent takes the boy to the race track and the local bar. He is a strange mentor but he soon grows fond of the boy and the boy can see through his crusty exterior and knows that there is more to Vincent than he lets on. He may not be a Saint but he is much more than he appears to be.

Ok. This is my favorite movie right now! It is funny and touching. Bill Murray is fabulous!! Melissa McCarthy is so good and Jaeden is great as Oliver. The language is salty and there are references to ladies of the night (Naomi Watts is great as Daka) but the movie is so sweet at it's core. Bill Murray plays a slob and couldn't be more unlikeable, but you still root for him. Great acting job. Highly recommend this film!!
