Runs 95 minutes

Vincent (Jamie Foxx) and his partner Sean Cass (T.I.) are cops who appear to have just stolen drugs from the wrong person. The drugs were bound for Novak (Scoot McNairy), a not-so-nice drug lord trying to impress his father. When Novak learns what happened, he arranges for Vincent's son to be kidnapped and held in exchange for the drugs. Meanwhile, Vincent makes sure that he is assigned to the case so that he can control the investigaton. Only, Internal Affairs officer Jennifer Bryant (Michelle Monaghan) smells a rat and starts to tail Vincent. Can Vincent make a deal with Novak and get his son back before it is too late? Or, will Internal Affairs step into the middle of a potentially botched undercover operation?

This movie had potential but it just wasn't that good. The plot is predicatable from the very beginning and you can pick out the good guys and the bad guys much too easily. Jamie Foxx and Michelle Monaghan give game performances. The fight scenes are actually pretty good. But, when Vincent's wife Dena (Gabrielle Union) shows up and jumps into the action, it is just too over the top. I would definitely skip this one and make sure you are caught up on the Oscar contenders instead.
