Maura (Amy Poehler) and Kate (Tina Fey) are sisters with very different sensibilities. Maura is a little nerdy and responsible. Kate is the opposite. When they find out that their parents (Dianne Wiest and James Brolin) are about to sell their childhood home, they decide to meet up to pack up their old bedroom. Then, they decide to throw one last party before the family home is turned over to the new owners. This party turns into one of the wildest and craziest nights on record.

Amy and Tina give everything they have to this movie. They are very funny and are like real sisters. The problem that I had is that the film is so crude and lowbrow. Lots of the scenes were just uncomfortable. Why was one of their old high school friends running around in his underwear all night? And, what adults would completely destroy someone's home at a party? I just didn't find that to be very funny. The moments between Tina and Amy were funny and heartfelt and their parents were pretty funny but the rest just didn't do it for me. Take it or leave it.
