Runs 108 minutes

Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey), a handsome koala, runs a theater struggling to stay afloat. He comes up with the idea of promoting a singing competition in order to try to restore his glorious theater back to the jewel it once was. Little did he know that a small error on the promotional flyer would produce record turnout for the competition. Rosita (Reese Witherspoon), a pig and mother to over 20 baby piglets, just needs an outlet for herself. Johnny (Taron Egerton), a gorilla, just wants to be a singer and doesn't want to be in his Dad's gang. And Mike (Seth McFarlane), the mouse, looks at the competition as a way to prove that good voices can come in small packages. All of these animals, along with some other colorful characters must unite against the odds to put on a competition for the ages. May the best singer win!

This is a fun and entertaining kid's film. Adults will be just as entertained. The singing is top-notch. The whole audition process is hilarious. If you watched the Voice or American Idol, this will bring back memories. The voice work is great. There is humor and emotion. Perfect for the whole family. Go see it.
