Kate Macer (Emily Blunt) has made a name for herself in the FBI. Her last case led to the uncovering of over 40 bodies practically mummified and hidden in the walls of a foreclosed property with shaky ties back to a high level Mexican cartel leader. When a task force headed by Matt (Josh Brolin) is formed to take down the cartel's top leaders, Kate is recruited to the team. She jumps at the chance to aid in stopping the escalating flow of drugs and crime at the border. She joins Matt and a mysterious agent named Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro) as they work to force the cartel members out into the open. As they push the boundaries to catch these evil men, Kate begins to question their methods and even who Alejandro really works for. Will Kate make it to the end of the mission and will the ends justify the means?

Sicario means "Hitman" in Spanish and there is plenty of shooting and other violence in this film. This is a pulse-pounding thriller. From beginning to end, it is tense with non-stop action. The cast is terrific. And, the story is relevant to the times and feels fresh. The plot is intricate and it really keeps your interest. I thought the entire film was well-cast and Benicio and Josh both did great jobs. Go see it and get ready for an edge-of-your-seat thriller.
