Runs 85 minutes

On this Farm, the Farmer manages his business like a well-oiled machine. There is a schedule and it is followed every day. Shaun, the smartest of the sheep, decides that he needs a day off from the routine. He recruits all of his farm animal friends to help in this endeavor. But, things go terribly wrong and the Farmer ends up lost in the Big City. Shaun and his fellow sheep must team up with Bitzer, the dog to rescue the Farmer, avoid the evil Animal Containment man and get everyone safely back home to the Farm.

This movie is just a joy. It is from the Aardman studio (Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run) and uses stop-motion claymation. There is no spoken dialogue. But, there are all kinds of sounds and written words that make the story easy to follow. The animals are all so cute and funny. The story is simple but entertaining. And, while the movie is great for the kids, it is not dumbed down for the adults. I never thought that I would enjoy this movie as much as I did. I say grab a kid (or not) and go see it!!
