Runs 90 minutes

This film follows a bunch of kids from all across the country and some from other countries as they prepare for the annual ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair) competition. These kids are so smart. Some come from advantaged backgrounds and some come from nothing. One poor girl couldn't even get a teacher to sponsor her. Luckily, the football coach happily stepped in. They made an unusual pair but it was great to see his support. You can't help but root for all of these kids. But, only one can win the overall competition and the $75,000 scholarship.

This is my second favorite documentary so far this year (behind Won't You be My Neighbor). It is inspiring and up-lifting. These kids are so smart and hard-working. And, some of them are pretty funny. I was amazed at the projects that these kids came up with and how much time and effort they put into this competition. If this is the future of America, then we are in good hands. We just need to keep promoting and pushing kids to use their talents. This film is great for the whole family. Take the kids and go see it.
