Runs 80 minutes

In the Tibetan mountains, the sheep have long been protected from the wolves by large Mastiffs. Khampa (J.K. Simmons) has been training his son Bodi (Luke Wilson) to take over the guard duties. But, Bodi is more of a dreamer and when a transistor radio falls from a plane and into his hands, he discovers rock music. He longs to move to the big city and find Angus (Eddie Izzard), a famous rock musician to be his mentor. When he finally does make it to the city, it turns out that things aren't really that easy. Soon, a sinister plot to capture all of the sheep lures him back to his village. Will Bodi make it back in time to save his family and those he loves before it is too late?

This is a simple and cute movie. Very average, nothing great. The voice work is fine and the animation is colorful and fun. The message of the movie is fine for the whole family and the kids should enjoy it. Not much there for the adults but it is short. So, take a kid and catch the matinee.
