Runs 98 minutes

This is the story of Ruth Bader Ginsberg - the Notorius RBG. She is 84 and still going strong, serving as a Justice on the Supreme Court. This movie follows Ruth from her time as a young Jewish woman to her rise to the Supreme Court, becoming a national icon along the way.

Being much more conservative than RBG, I thought I might not like this film as much as I did. The thing is, you can't help but admire what Ruth went through to get where she is today. From being one of only a handful of women in her law school class to making law review but then not being able to get a job because she was a woman. Marrying the man of her dreams, only to have to nurse him through cancer while raising a daughter and attending law school at the same time. Finally, becoming only the second woman appointed to the Supreme Court. She was definitely much stronger than her small stature would suggest. Today, people flock to take selfies with her, she works out with a trainer and falls asleep during the State of the union speech. She is still a character (although it seems that she should think about retiring soon). Definitely, she had an interesting career. While I might not agree with her politics, I still found her life story fascinating and well worth watching. So go see it.
