Agnes (Kelly Macdonald) is wife to Louie (David Denman) and mother to Gabe (Austin Abrams) and Ziggy (Bubba Weiler). She is a good Catholic woman who is often taken for granted. When she gets a jigsaw puzzle for her birthday, she realizes that she is very adept at putting puzzles together. She answers an ad from a puzzle champion looking for a new partner. She doesn't know what to expect when she meets Robert (Irrfan Khan) but she finds an interesting man who opens up her world in ways she was never expecting. 

This ia cute film about a woman who finally realizes that she has worth. Kelly Macdonald gives an amazing performance. You really feel for her. Her life seems fine and her husband appears to be kind and doting. But she feels stifled and unappreciated in a very traditional marriage. Putting puzzles together with Robert opens up something inside her and makes her realize all of the things that she has been missing - watching the news, traveling, and being appreciated. She does come off as selfish at times. Maybe if she actually talked to her husband she might have been a happier person. But, overall this is a nice little film with really good performances. Go see it.
