Runs 89 minutes

Mary (Taraji P. Henson) is a hitwoman for a crime family in Boston. Benny (Danny Glover) heads up this family and apparently took Mary in when when she was young and living on the streets. Benny's son Tom (Billy Brown) and Mary were an item for a while but Mary is ready to move on. When she learns that  the son of one of her targets has been forced to live on the streets and run drugs for "Uncle" (Xander Berkeley), she takes an interest in his welfare and starts to watch him. Eventually, she takes him in. At first, Danny (Jahi Di'Allo Winston) is resistant to Mary's help. But, once Mary makes a move against Uncle, all bets are off. Now, there is a war between crime families and Mary is caught in the middle. All she wants is to take Danny and start over somewhere else. Will she able able to make that happen before she ends up dead?

The Husband and I thought that Taraji made a believable action heroine. She was athletic and strong. But, the script for this film was so weak. Every move was predictable. There were no real surprises. And, people were dying left and right, half the time in broad daylight. Where were the cops? Or, at least some bystander with a cell phone?? The film was just too unrealistic. Hopefully, someone will find a better film for Taraji's next effort. I would say skip this one.
