A young moto-cross daredevil, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey) gives up his wild ways and joins the FBI after a terrible tragedy. Soon, he is working deep undercover, infiltrating a group of extreme athletes attempting to complete the Osaki Eight - a set of eight impossible athletic feats. The only problem is that they are also criminals, carrying out dangerous crimes that are financially impacting some of America's largest corporations. As Johnny is drawn deeper and deeper into these crazy exploits, he comes to admire their leader Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez) even as he tries to take down his gang. Will Johnny be able to stop Bodhi and his gang before he becomes a casualty of these daring exploits?

This is a remake of the 1991 hit featuring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. That movie was a classic. This movie is really just a movie of stunts. Although, I will admit that some of these stunts - wingsuit flying and free rock climbing are some of the most breath-taking scenes ever filmed, the movie just leaves you a little cold. There is very little character development and you just don't really care what happens to anyone. It is beautiful to look at and the athletes in this film are super-human but other than that, it is very average. You should probably skip it and see something else.
