The Barden Bellas are back and they are the reigning National Champion A capella group for the third year in a row. They are invited to perform for the President's Birthday Celebration at The Kennedy Center which should elevate their national reputation. Only it doesn't. In a spectacular wardrobe malfunction, Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) is literally left hanging in the breeze and everyone in the audience gets a look at things they would rather not see. Soon, the A capella Association takes away their trophy and puts them in the dog house - no more title, no more pledges, no more competitions. The only way for the Bellas to regain their position back at the top is to win the World Championship, for which they will be allowed to compete due to a technicality. Of course, no American team has ever won this before. With the odds stacked against them and only one new member, Emily (Hailee Steinfeld) they must prepare to face off against the best of the best. Can they possibly win the World's and get their reputations back?

I loved this movie. It is even funnier than the first one. Everyone is back. Beca (Anna Kendrick) and Fat Amy get plenty of screen time and they are both so quick with the funny lines. But, Elizabeth Banks (who also directs this installment) and John Michael Higgins, the awesome judges from the first film are back and more hysterical than ever. They made the movie. The music was great. I particularly liked the very first lollipop song by the guy group, but all of the music is very fun and catchy. I will buy the soundtrack. If you were a fan of the first film, you will love this one even more. And, if you missed out on the first one, don't worry. Go see this one anyway!!
