Runs 102 minutes

Riley (Jennifer Garner), Chris (Jeff Hephner) and their daughter Carly (Cailey Fleming) are a close, middle class family, sometimes struggling to make ends meet. But, they have each other and hope that things will get better. Until, one awful night when they are gunned down in cold blood. Riley survives but is so grief stricken that she wishes that she had died, too. With nothing to lose, Riley decides to get revenge for her family. She sets out to take down every person who played a part in killing her family, Including the crooked judge and prosecutor who failed to lock up the actual shooters.

The Husband and I were really looking forward to this film. It was good to see Jennifer Garner back in an action flick. And as the female lead, she did an awesome job. She is one of those actresses who can play the nice Mom and a killler and be believable in both roles. I thought the movie was just a tad too violent. There were times when it might have been more satisfying to see a different form of revenge than just killing the bad guys. But, this was a straight up revenge thriller. If you like Jennifer Garner and don't mind plenty of carnage, then this is the film for you. We liked it. It is fast-paced from the beginning, fairly creative and entertaining. Just very violent! Go see it.
