The Penguins get a spin-off from the original Madagascar movie. This tells a little of their origin story and then togther with the undercover organization the North Wind, they must save the world from the evil Dr. Octavius Brine. 

The penguins are cute and for the most part funny. For adults, the humor gets a little annoying. There is no subtlety at all. It is just non-stop. It seems like the kids all liked it. So, take the kids and try to just enjoy it as much as you can.
