Runs 94 minutes

Paul Blart (Kevin James) has been busy protecting the local mall for the past 6 years, ever since he foiled the big "Black Friday" terrorist plot. Now, his fiance has left him and his daughter is about to leave for college so he jumps at the chance to attend the Security Officers convention in Las Vegas with his daughter. Of course, that is the same weekend that Vincent (Neal McDonough) and his gang of criminals have planned a big art heist. They intend to swap out the art with fakes and leave without anyone ever knowing. Well, I guess they never met Paul Blart. Can Paul stop the art heist and save the day?

This is not a good movie. The first one was funny and sweet because Paul Blart was not in on the joke. In this one, Kevin James hams it up just a little too much. As the Husband said, all of the funny scenes were in the preview and the rest is just groan-inducing. The movie is harmless but there are many better family choices, like Monkey Kingdom. You can skip this one.
