Runs 111 minutes

A 12 year-old orphan boy named Peter (Levi Miller) is stolen from his bed one night and whisked away to Neverland by the evil Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman). It seems that Blackbeard uses young orphans as slave labor to mine for the Fairy Dust that he needs to maintain his youthful appearance. But with the help of Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara) and Captain Hook (Garrett Hedlund), Peter is able to break free of Blackbeard and go on to discover his true destiny as Peter Pan.

I didn't really like this movie. It started off fine, but once it got to Neverland, I thought it was kind of just a jumble of over-long action sequences. Hugh Jackman was great, as always. Everyone else was ok. It seemed that Garrett Hedlund was a little over-the-top. I'm not sure if he was over-acting or what. Anyway, the movie will probably be entertaining to kids but there is not much in it for adults. It seemed too long, with beautiful sets but little content. And, the 3D did very little to enhance the experience. Overall, a very average movie. I would skip it and see something else.
