Runs 103 minutes

Paddington (voiced by Ben Whishaw) has settled in with the Brown family and is a popular member of their local community. He still keeps in touch with his Aunt Lucy (voiced by Imelda Staunton), who is now happily living in a retired bear community.  It is almost Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday and Paddington wants to get her something extra special since she took such good care of him when he was young. She has always wanted to visit London. Paddington finds the next best thing, an old pop-up book of the most famous London attractions. It is the perfect gift but sadly it is expensive. So, Paddington sets out to find a job to earn the money to buy it. Unbeknownst to him, Phoenix Buchanan (Hugh Grant), a local celebrity, has been searching for this book, too. He manages to steal the book and set Paddington  up to take the fall. Now, it is up to the Brown family to expose the real thief and get Paddington out of jail before it is too late.

This movie is almost as good as the original. The cast is pretty amazing for a PG semi-animated film, including Sally Hawkins, High Bonneville, Julie Walters, Brendan Gleeson, Jim Broadbent and Hugh Grant. Hugh Grant is hilarious, playing against type. He gets a chance to show off his talent for accents and even a little song and dance during the final credits. But, at the end of the day, this film is about family. It is sweet, funny and touching. Perfect for the whole family. Go see it.
