Runs 107 minutes

Perry (Ewan McGregor) and Gail (Naomie Harris) are on vacation in Morocco, trying to recapture some of their lost romance. Perry runs into Dima (Stellan Skarsgård) at the bar and they hit it off. Dima challenges Perry to a tennis duel and soon they are fast friends. But, all is not what it seems because Dima is a bookkeeper for the Russian Mafia and is looking for a way out. He asks Perry to smuggle a zip drive back to London carrying account information in return for allowing him and his family to defect to London. Soon, Perry and Gail are sucked into the espionage game, unsure of whom they can ultimately trust. Can mere civilans protect Dima's family from the wrath of the mob and bring down corrupt government officials all at the same time?

The Husband and I both liked this movie. We thought it was a decent and thought-provoking thriller for the middle of the summer. Based on a novel by John Le Carre, it had suspense, intrigue, tension and double-crossing. Everyone was great in the film. It was fun seeing Damien Lewis playing a government spy type character using his British accent for a change. Stellan Skarsgård was a bundle of energy as the bookkeeper for the Russian Mafia. Overall, great cast. Good story. Not a bad movie for the hot days of summer. If you like intrigue and a little corruption with your spy thriller, then this might be for you. Go see it.
