Sandra Bullock is Jane Bodine, a burned-out political strategist living a quiet life until she is summoned back into the fray. Castillo (Joaquim de Almeida), a Bolivian Presidential candidate, is down over 20 points in the polls but Ben (Anthony Mackie) feels that he is the best candidate and Jane is the woman to get him back in the race. She is about to take a pass until she learns that her archenemy, Pat Candy (Billy Bob Thornton) is the strategist for the leading candidate. She sees this as a last attempt to beat her rival. The candidates don't really matter. May the best political strategist win.

This is a pretty good movie. It is defintely funny. But, it is also very cynical and snarky about the whole political process. Sandra and Billy Bob are hilarious and their scenes are the best parts of the film. It is worth just seeing those two in action. Nothing really special but not a bad film. Go see it.
