Alice (Elizabeth Reaser) is a fake psychic but for the right reasons. Together with her daughters Lina (Annalise Basso) and Doris (Lulu Watson), she feels that she brings a little peace, comfort and closure to people with loved ones who have passed to the great beyond. She decides to add a Quija board into her sessions. Soon, an evil spirit has been summoned into their lives. They engage Father Tom (Henry Thomas) to try to help them understand what they are facing. But, soon they are in a fight for their very souls.

I thought this was a decent scary flick. Lulu Wilson who played Doris was awesome. She did a great job playing the creepy kid. Everyone did a good job. The story was engaging but not really jump out of your seat scary. It was more of a slow buildup to a rather weird ending. At least there was a plot and the story made sense. The ending just left a little to be desired. I'm sure there will be a Ouija 3 next year. If you like movies that raise your blood pressure just a little bit, then this might be for you. Worth a matinee, at least.
