Billie Joe Armstrong is Perry, a former punk rocker trying to adjust to living an ordinary life with a wife and kid. When his birthday arrives and no one seems to remember, he decides to throw a blow out party for himself. Things don't go exactly as planned and he soon realizes that living an ordinary life in an ordinary world might not be so bad after all.

This movie was cute but very lightweight. It seems that it was written as a starring vehicle for Bille Joe Armstrong. He is likeable and gets to sing a few songs but his acting is weak. Selma Blair plays his wife and Chris Messina plays his brother, both small roles. It is mostly Billie Joe's film. Not much to it. Very predictable. Might be worth catching on late-night cable.
