Runs 83 minutes

Stand up comedienne Donna Stern (Jenny Slate) shares her life nightly from the stage. Eventually, her boyfriend dumps her because he is tired of her baring their life for all to hear. And, the bookstore where she has worked days for 5 years is closing. With everything going wrong, she drinks too much and meets a nice stranger (Jake Lacy) for a late night hook-up. Uh Oh, about three weeks later she finds out that she is pregnant. With an abortion scheduled for Valentine's Day, how much worse could her life get?

This movie just made me a little sad and mad. It starts off cute enough and Jenny Slate is very funny. I thought she and Jake Lacy made a very cute couple. Of course, the movie makes it seem like everyone hooks up and has abortions at the drop of a hat and then turns it into stand up comedy. The message of this movie is very pro-abortion and handled with a little too much lack of feeling. I have a hard time recommending this because of the overall message of the movie. Wait for the DVD.
