Runs 107 minutes

Liam Neeson plays U.S. Air Marshall Bill Marks, a tragic, chain-smoking alcoholic who doesn't even like to fly.  On board a flight from New York to London, he receives a text message stating that someone will be killed every 20 minutes until $150 million dollars is transferred into a specified bank account.  Of course, the set-up is to make it look like Bill is hijacking the plane to draw attention away from the real bad guys.  Is it Julianne Moore, who arranged to sit by him on the flight, is it the jumpy flight attendant played by Michelle Dockery, is it the NYPD cop, is it the Muslim Doctor??  Everyone is a potential suspect and that only adds to the tension until the ultimate, crazy climax.

This is not a great movie.  However, I really enjoyed it.  The tension is palpable.  You really feel for Liam Neeson even though he isn't the most likeable guy. It is fun to try to figure out what is going on and who might be responsible.  The end is extremely far-fetched but who cares. Sit back, relax and enjoy the white knuckle flight.
