A married couple, Mac (Seth Rogen) and Kelly Radner (Rose Byrne) are having a little difficulty adjusting to life in the suburbs with a new baby (a very expressive baby!). One day a moving truck pulls up and a Fraternity moves in next door. At first, they strive to be the cool couple next door, reliving their past, sharing their pot and partying with the guys. However, Mac and Kelly have responsibilities and they can't handle the ever-present music and other nonsense next door. Soon, this becomes a war between the Fraternity, headed by president Teddy Sanders (Zac Efron, taking every chance to show off his fantastic abs) and the family next door. The battle is on. Who will win this epic clash? Who knows, but we all know that this neighborhood isn't big enough for both of them.

I really thought this movie would be hilarious. Unfortunately, I thought it was just too crude. There are plenty of things that will make you laugh (a dance off between Seth and Zac is pretty funny and the whole airbag gag is pretty hilarious) but it just seems like a series of cheap laughs. Where are all of the other Neighbors who would also be having a fit if this was happening? I just didn't buy it. Zac looked incredibly chiseled, which I appreciated but there wasn't a whole lot else to really like. I guess I am the grumpy old neighbor who wouldn't put up with these shenanigans. Just an average movie that might have been more inspired if it wasn't so out and out crude.
