Everyone is back for another Greek wedding, only this time it's Grandpa Gus (Michael Constantine) and Grandma Maria (Lainie Kazan) who are getting married. It seems that 50 years ago their official marriage certificate was never signed by the Priest and they have been "living in sin" all of these years. This leads to family drama as Maria wants a real proposal this time and Gus refuses. While the kids are trying to fix this situation, Toula (Nia Vardalos) and Ian (John Corbett) are facing becoming empty nesters as their daughter Paris (Elena Kampouris) prepares to leave for college. Toula and Ian can only hope that she picks Northwestern over NYU and she feels the pressure to stay close to the family when she really wants to spread her wings. As the wedding approaches, the family must all come together to pull off the ceremony without a hitch with Aunt Voula (Andrea Martin) leading the charge. Will this Big, Fat Greek Wedding make everyone realize the importance of family once again?

The Husband, TRNRJOE and I all loved this movie. It was good, wholesome fun. Everyone was back from the original movie (and a few new people, as well) and it felt just as good as the first time. It starts off a little slow, but once the wedding preparation kicks in, the hilarity kicks in, as well. This is one big, loving family and it is nice to see this on the big screen. Marriage is important and the bonds between family members can never be broken, even over time and long distances. It was so nice seeing this on screen. The movie is great for the whole family. You will laugh and maybe even shed a few sentimental tears. if you loved the first one, you will love this one. Go see it.
