Runs 129 minutes

The film is set in a dystopian future, where cities are on giant rollling wheels and the big cities chase and consume the smaller cities to survive. Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar) has been set on revenge since Thaddeus Valentine (Hugo Weaving) killed her Mother when she was a little girl. Valentine lives on London and Hester finally gets her chance to kill him but fails. Now she is on the run with Tom (Robert Sheehan), a collector of ancient technological artifacts. They join forces with an outlaw gang headed by Anna Fang (Jihae). The outlaw gang is anti-traction and wants to stop the giant rolling cities. Together, they work to stop Valentine's evil plot to take over the cities behind the great wall.

I actually liked this movie better than I thought I would. Based on the preview, I was expecting it to be a loud action fest with little plot. I was pleasantly surprised. The concept was unique. I thought the rolling cities were really cool. The CGI and the action were both really good. I liked the characters. I thought Hester Shaw and Tom were both very likeable and I thought Hugo Weaving, as Valentine was a good villain. I would have liked a few more scenes with Jihae, as Anna Fang. She kicked butt. It was a little long but it didn't really feel like it - there was so much to look at and so much going on. Very creative and entertaining. There is a lot of violence so it isn't meant for little kids. The film isn't going to win any awards but the attention to detail is pretty awesome. If you are looking for something just a little different, then this might be for you. Go see it.
